• Good for the environment: Begeterday Hermit Crab Coconut Fiber Substrate is a natural, organic, non-polluting material that is biodegradable and compostable, you can dispose of it completely outdoors in your garden or backyard or use it as a fertilizer for flowers, potted plants, and other plants for reuse of resources, which is very friendly to the environment.
• Tips: It is recommended to mix coconut fiber with aquarium sand (sand for hermit crabs) in a 1:5 ratio. This ratio of substrate allows hermit crabs to burrow and maintains humidity well, which is very important for hermit crabs, especially during molting. The sand is good for adding stability to the substrate, while the coconut fiber helps to maintain humidity.
