Live Plant Tall Grass (Lead Bunch - 4 Pack / Gigantea)

Vallisneria Gigantea is one of the tallest and most commanding background plants available to aquascapers. With its extra-long, ribbon-like bright green leaves, it creates a lush vertical curtain effect that's ideal for tall aquariums or for hiding equipment along the back wall. Its impressive height and waving texture bring a sense of depth and motion, especially in tanks with strong water flow.Despite its dramatic appearance, Vallisneria Gigantea is extremely easy to care for and grows quickly under moderate to high light. Once rooted in nutrient-rich substrate, it spreads readily via runners, forming thick stands of greenery. While not demanding, CO₂ injection and a steady supply of macros and trace nutrients can supercharge its growth and help maintain vibrant leaf color and health. This plant ships as a fresh-cut lead bunch with multiple shoots. To plant, separate the individuals and insert them deeply into your substrate using tweezers, ensuring root contact. Its fast growth and impressive height make it particularly suitable for large aquariums, river-style layouts, or natural biotopes where a flowing background is desired.SubstrateSource supplies vigorous aquatic plants suited for both beginners and professionals. Our lead bunches are carefully prepared and packed to provide the healthiest start possible for your freshwater aquarium setup.Common Name: Vallisneria GiganteaCare Level: EasySuggested Placement: BackgroundLighting: Moderate to High; 8–10 hrs/dayGrowth Rate: FastPropagation: RunnersCO₂ Requirement: OptionalMature Height: 50–100 cmGenus: VallisneriaSpecies: giganteaPlant Type: Aquatic PlantGrowth Form: RosetteColor Accents: Bright GreenFamily: Hydrocharitaceae
